![]() "Frost's Spring"This piece involved the greatest variety of media as well as one of the largest scales I have worked with to date (measuring approximately 24" by 48"). I used coffee and tea to achieve an aged appearance to the mat board, then sketched the composition in graphite and before rendering it in ink. The painting was completed in watercolors and gouache, and text elements were added by hand. | ![]() Figure sketchesI enjoy drawing people, especially in the more lively style of sketching known as gesture sketching. |
